A medical doctor has died from injuries he sustained after getting shot along the Okada-Benin road, Edo state last Wednesday.
34-year-old Dr Ehidiamen Oakimena, a senior registrar in the department of Anaethesia, University of Benin Teaching hospital UBTH, was reportedly on his way to Igbinedion University Hospital Okada on Jan 17, 2018, when he was attacked and shot.
He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
Friends of the deceased took to Facebook to mourn him.
