Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have reportedly arrested Ibanga Akpabio, the younger brother of former Akwa Ibom state governor now Senator, Godswill Akpabio over fraud allegations.
According to Sahara Reporters, Ibanga who is currently the Deputy Chairman of PDP in Akwa Ibom state is facing separate investigations over his mismanagement and embezzlement of Akwa Ibom state fund.
Ibanga was arrested and detained at the Port Harcourt office for allegedly defrauding a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Robinson Uwak, an Efcc source claimed.
He is also being interrogated over allegations of fraud and money laundering.
