Soldiers stationed at Umarari-Molai outskirts of Maiduguri, Borno state identified three female suicide bombers who were trying to attack Maiduguri this morning. The soldiers shot at them which led to a bullet detonating one of the IEDs wrapped around their bodies thus leading to an explosion that consumed the three of them
The gallant soldiers identified the attackers around 5am when they were trying to gain access to Maiduguri.
A Civilian JTF source said all the female bombers were about 12 to 15 years of age.
