These are photos from the swearing-in of the fifth civilian governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki. He was sworn in yesterday by the
Obaseki’s deputy, Philip Shuaibu also took his oath of office earlier.
Dignitaries like the All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun and former militray ruler of Nigeria, General Yakubu Gowon and others were also present to felicitate with the new Governor.
Also in attendance was the immediate past governor and his wife, Iara and well wishers
