At the inauguration of the Kalambina 500 housing estate in Sokoto State, President Muhammadu Buhari says he is still positive that the country is destined to achieve greatness in spite of her current challenges.
According to him, in spite of the challenges, we are determined to overcome them and fight corruption.
“The administration will continue to bring development to Nigerians, improve security and welfare of Nigerians,” he said.
He noted that Nigeria had in the early 1960s witnessed reputable peace, culture of discipline and commitment to national development.
“Unfortunately, the situation had changed now, but we are committed to taking Nigeria to greatness.
The president commended Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal for executing the project that gulped N4.8 billion and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the facilities.
Mr. Tambuwal said that the houses were built as part of efforts to fulfill his campaign promises to the people.
