The admission by World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim,that President Muhammadu Buhari instructed the bank to concentrate its projects on the Northern region of the country has not been well received by some Nigerians.
The World Bank president’s claim is hot on the heels of the notion held by some that the President has deviated from what he said in his inaugural speech that he would belong to everybody and to nobody in the discharge of his duties.
Some of his actions and appointments beg to differ as they tend towards the north, this has brought up marginalisation allegations by the South-east amid calls for restructuring.

If Buhari told the World Bank president to focus on the North, you can rest assured that he told the heads of DFiD and USAID to do the same.
