Wizkid became the First African Artist as he beat the likes of Jay-Z, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar and others to clinch the ‘Best international Act’ award at the event on Wednesday.
He has now joined the likes of Eminem, Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Beyoncé as winners of the category. Davido also won the Best African act category.
Davido also won the Best African act category as he beat Eugy, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi others to the award.
They both heaped praises on him on their different social media handles.
