Funmi who is known for her controversial opinions in a tweet which has gone viral said the only way to end slavery in Africa is to fix African states and economies.

The way to stop slavery in Africa is to fix African states and economies; integrate, trade, enable the mass of Africa. This must be done by Africans. Everything else is cosmetics and optics.
