BREAKING: Lassa Fever Reportedly Kills Three People In Imo

At least three persons have been confirmed dead out of seven persons confirmed to have contracted the Lassa fever disease in Orlu Local Government area and some other parts of Imo State, Channels TV reports.

This was confirmed to journalists at the Government House in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha said the government will do everything possible to make sure that the spread is curtailed as government is already taking action.

He advised residents of the state to keep healthy and clean environment to curb the spread.
