Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Professor Itsejuwa Esanjumi Sagay told President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, that the cabals in Aso Rock are the problem of his administration.He told the President that it is time to sack the cabal and that they have been a clog in the wheel of his administration’s progress.
Professor Sagay spoke in Minna, Niger State, yesterday evening, during a lecture, titled Nigeria: The travails of an animal kingdom, to mark the 27th convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology Minna, .
Sagay insisted that the “cabals have no business being in the Presidency as such they should fished out and flushed out”.
He, however, declined to mention names of who constitute the cabals but insisted that “they are not helpful to the government, everybody is complaining about them.”
In the lecture, Prof. Sagay said the elite are the problem of the country, and stressed that the quality of the political elite has continued to decline, after the First Republic.
