No fewer than 24 corpses have arrived St. Bernard open field, Okpoga, the headquarters of Okpokwu LGA of Benue State for a mass funeral.
NigerianMonitor recalls that no fewer than 24 people were penultimate week killed after suspected herdsmen attacked Omosu village in Edumoga community of Okpokpwu Local Government Area of the state.

The state had last week cancelled a mass burial for the victim after the Idoma community kicked against it, saying it was not part of their culture.
After the Mass funeral, the corpses would each be carried to their respective families for final burial.
