Ahmed Musa, Iheanacho Score Against Togo As Super Eagles Warm Up For AFCON Qualifier

The Super Eagles of Nigeria thumped Togo Republic 3 nil in their friendly clash played at the Stade Municipal(Saint-Leu-la-Forêt) in France.

Ahmed Musa gave the boys in green and white the lead just two minutes into the first half after great work from Arsenal boy, Alex Iwobi.

The Leicester city forward grabbed his second in the 17th minute after another assist from Iwobi.

Kelechi Iheanacho wrapped up the victory 10 minutes later with an easy tap in off an Oghenetero Etebo assist.

The momemtum of the game was affected with the changes made by Gernot Rohr at halftime as the pace of the game dropped.

Super Eagles held on for the win ahead of vital AFCON qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa slated for June 10 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital.
