Guinness Night Football, Abuja took place at the B.M.O events arena, Wuse 2, on the 18th of January 2020. The soccer-themed event was an exhibition of talent, games, fashion, pop culture and the love for Guinness.
Six teams displayed their talents in a five aside match on the ‘made of more’ soccer pitch.
Fun seekers embraced friendly rivalry through amazing soccer-themed games like football post, foot snooker, crossword puzzle, and maze. The night also featured the display of urban culture like henna and body paint.
There was also extraordinary musical performances by Ice-prince, Fireboy, and Magneto.
This is the second leg of the Guinness Night Football campaign, the first kicked off in Enugu on the 21st of December 2019 and Lagos on the 28th of December 2019. Afterwards, the campaign moved to Abuja on the 18th of January 2020, with a grand finale in Lagos to be hosted by Rio Ferdinand on the 31st of January.
The grand finale will be held on the 31st of January 2020 bringing all the winners together from Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, and Kenya.
